Yellow Curry Vegetable

Flavour: Rich and savoury sweet

Thai yellow curry, like Japanese and Korean curries, is influenced by the Anglo-Indian curry powder that was brought over by the British in the late 1800s. The Anglo-Indian curry powder is a blend of different ground spices with a notably high content of turmeric. Incorporating it into traditional Thai curry paste naturally led to Thai yellow curry. Compared to other Thai curries, yellow curry is creamier, less spicy, less oily and richer in dried spices.
